Developer tooling for AI agents, at work. My day job is developer experience for a platform team. Most of my time goes into the surface an agent sees when it wants to use the platform: an MCP server, a CLI, and a set of skills that teach it how to do real finance tasks without guessing. The hard part is not getting the agent to call the API. It is getting it to stop when it should.
Small iOS apps on the App Store. Isip, Tipid, Kusog, DUWA, and Hanyu are live. The first four run on-device and need no account. Hanyu is the exception: it syncs progress through Firebase.
Board exam reviewers. Arkitekto has a January 2027 exam to get people through, so the next three months are about content and runway, not new features. Akawntant gets the same treatment after.
Stuck on
Exits. I have a crypto trading bot running in dry-run mode. The entries are fine. The exits are where it loses money, and I have not found a rule I trust yet. It stays in dry-run until I do.
Writing cadence. The last post here went up in April. I have five drafts and a lot more to say about working with agents than I have published. This page exists partly to shame me into fixing that.
Away from the keyboard
Hiking, at the moment. Before that it was Muay Thai, cycling, and running, each for about as long as it took to get decent. Still think Minecraft is one of the best games ever made.
